Tree House Playschool

TREE HOUSE CLASSES

3 Year Old Classes

Grow and Learn!  Children are introduced to the classroom setting in a semi-structured social program where we grow and learn together.

There is a strong focus on learning through play – circle time, imaginative play, songs, stories, crafts, and a chance to share with others. Pre-literacy, counting, music, art, and the world around us are incorporated into exciting classroom themes throughout the school year. We are learning to LOVE learning.

Children must be 3 years of age and toilet trained by staggered class start date.

4 Year Old Classes

Whether your child is a new or returning student, they can join us in four year old fun!  We continue our focus on learning through play while we delve deeper into skill based learning.

Children are supported to expand their fine and gross motor skills, self-directed and imaginative play, involvement in listening and sharing aloud, pre-literacy and math skills, and exploring the world around us.

Our 4 year old classes focus on kindergarten readiness.

Children should be 4 years of age by December 31, 2024 and planning on attending kindergarten the following school year.

3/4 Year Old Classes

Whether your child is a new or returning student, they can join us in a combined class of 3s and 4s!

Our focus is learning through play in the classroom. We meet our students where they are at, and whether 3 or 4, support each child as they acquire the social, skill based, & sensory learning experiences that help them thrive in preschool.

In a combined age group, 3 and 4 year olds are supported in gaining solid classroom skills and strong peer connections.  A great class for family groups.

Children must be 3 years of age and toilet trained by staggered class start date.

Les Petites Pommes

Planting the seeds of French language!

Offered at our École Sacre Coeur site, Les Petites classes are instructed in English and introduce French vocabulary side by side with English concepts in our early education curriculum.

In a pre-immersion classroom, your child has the opportunity to grow and learn while trying out the French language.  Classroom curriculum & themes are the same as in our English Preschool Program, we are simply learning to love learning . . .  in French!

Wonder Classes

Have you ever WONDERED?  Join Tree House teachers for thematic fun, exploration, imagination & play.

Designed for currently attending and Tree House alumni students, these discovery & play classes run one afternoon or morning per week for 6-8 weeks. Winter WONDERland, WONDERwild & WONDERgarden are just a few examples of our exciting classes.

As an extension of Tree House playschool programming, WONDER classes are not eligible for preschool subsidy rates.
